Steps in an ESEF Disclosure

This chapter gives an outline of the steps to be performed in order to create an ESEF annual financial statement disclosure.

  1. Create the entire report in Excel, including the entry sheets and explanatory notes, preferably with help of the DR formulas and functions offered by Clausion Dynamic Reporting.

  3. Click the save-packageReport Package button, and the ClausionESEF Reporting Tool forms three spreadsheets, to which the mappings are defined, and the feedback is received (Extension, Mapping, Log).

  5. Fill in the Extension spreadsheet according to the instructions and by using the Clausion IFRS package mappings as an example. Click the save-packageReport Package button and make sure that no failures are written in the log.

  7. Fill in the Mapping spreadsheet according to the instructions and by using the Clausion IFRS package mappings as an example. Click the save-packageReport Package button and make sure that no failures are written in the log.

  9. Review the complete data mapping with the Clausion iXBRL Viewer browser application and check its validity.

  11. Remove the Viewer option from the /**Options literal and create the entire report package excluding the viewer.

  13. Compress the root folder of the report package to a .zip file.

  15. Send the .zip file to the OAM service.
