Clausion Documentation Getting Started
Clausion User Documentation has moved to a new platform with a new look and feel. The content, however, is the same content as before. Check out below tips to help you navigate and find what you need in the online helps.
You can find Clausion Release Notes here. They contain the release notes of all the most recent Clausion and Clausion Content Package versions.
Disclaimer and insightsoftware Finland Oy About Information
The Disclaimer article is an independent article located on top of the left-side navigation panel, instead of it being included under each individual online help.
The insightsoftware Finland Oy About Information is also an independent article located on the top of the left-side navigation panel and it includes three sections: Copyrights, End User License Agreement (EULA), and Privacy Policy. In addition, the Privacy Policy section includes a link to insightsoftware's global Privacy Policy in English on the company's website.
Structure and browsing
The structure of the online helps is in three levels:
- The first level of the left-side navigation panel is a list of all the individual articles, and full online helps included in that language. If the item is an individual article on the first level, it opens when you click it. If the item is a full online help on the first level, clicking it opens the list of second-level articles in that online help. The down-facing arrow icon next to the title of an online help indicates that there are lower level articles under the title.
- The second level is the first level that includes the actual articles in the online helps. Click an article on the second level to open it. If there are articles below that article on the third level, a list of them opens on the navigation panel, and you can click them open as well.
- The third level is the final level including articles. If the online helps included more levels previously, the content from those levels has been moved up to their parent article. Therefore, the third-level articles may include content that was previously divided into several separate articles and on lower levels.
Version history
The online helps include indicators inside the content informing of the version-specific content. For example:
[v24.01 and later:] This is an example sentence marked with the start and end indicators of new content from a specific version onwards. [v24.01 and latercontent ends]
Similarly, there are indicators also if there is content which applies only until a specific version:
[v24.01 and earlier:] This is an example sentence marked with the start and end indicators of content applicable until a specific version. [v24.01 and earliercontent ends]
The version history begins from version 24.01.
Language versions
On the left-side navigation panel, you can see all the online helps in English listed in one place.
If you need to access helps provided in other languages, you can access them via these links:
As before, you can also find links to other language versions under the User Guidance online help or on the About This Help article at the beginning of some of the online helps. All online helps in another language are also in one place, therefore, you can view all the online helps in one language via a link to any online help in that language.
